Upcoming conferences

The Fifth International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association (DGKL/GCLA) will take place at the University of Freiburg, 10-12 October, 2012. The theme will be Cognitive Linguistics in the World: Situated and Embodied Approaches. Deadline for abstracts and proposals is 15 February 2012.

The Fourth International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association (DGKL/GCLA), German site/English site, "Cognitive Linguistics: Reflections and Connections", Bremen, October 7-9, 2010. Keynote speakers: Daniel Casasanto,Gabriele Diewald, Elena Lieven, Luc Steels.

The 11th Northern German Linguistics Colloquium (11. Norddeutschen Linguistischen Kolloquium), Hamburg, March 5-6, 2010. Keynote speaker: Klaus-Uwe Panther.

The Third International Conference of the German Linguistics Association (DGKL/GCLA), German site/English site "Converging Evidence", Leipzig, September 25-27, 2008. Keynote speakers: Seana Coulson, Holger Diessel, Stefan Th. Gries, Günter Radden, Gerard Steen.

The Second International DGKL/GCLA Conference was held in Munich on October 5-7, 2006. Plenary speakers: Ewa Dabrowska, Dimitrij Dobrovolskij, Adele Goldberg, Zoltan Kovecses, Brigitte Nerlich, Mark Turner.

The inaugural conference of the DGKL/GCLA, Current Trends in Cognitive Linguistics / Aktuelle Entwicklungen in der Kognitiven Linguistik (DGKL-2004), was held at the University of Hamburg, Germany, 10-11 December, 2004.
